“Pangani”

A true escape on the Indian Ocean and Tanzania’s eastern coastline, this remote beach area features coral reefs and white sand beaches with few tourists. Pangani is historically rich in Swahili and Arab culture. Visitors can walk through Pangani town, visit a former Slave Labour Camp and Slave Market Site, take a River Cruise through Coconut Plantations or go on a Dolphin Safari and Fish with local fishermen.

Day One – Pick up from the airport and transferred to Marangu village at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro and overnight Mrefu Mountain lodge, Kilimanjaro.

Day Two – A relaxed afternoon being taken for a Farm walk around Mrefu Farm, witness the complex organic farming and bio-gas production (methane gas) from cattle which is used for cooking. We have an option to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro to the first hut Mandara and back. Overnight Mrefu Farm Lodge.

Day Three – After breakfast leave with a picnic lunch to Tsavo National Park in Taveta Kenya. Full day game drive. Overnight Mrefu Farm Lodge.

Day Four – After breakfast leave with a picnic lunch to Mkomazi National Park via Usambara Mountain (Lushoto). Full day game drive. Overnight Babu`s Camp.

Day Six – After breakfast drive to Pangani. Overnight Emayani Beach Lodge.

Day Six – Leave from Pangani to Dar es Salaam airport for your flight to home.

Option: Arusha for overnight and flight the next Day at Kilimanjaro Airport.

Option: Take a fast boat to Zanzibar and leave from there.
