Welcome to Eileen’s Trees Inn in the ‘Crater Highlands’ town of Karatu.

Eileen’s Trees Inn is owned and managed by Tanzanians who have been in the safari and hospitality business for many years.

Our mission is to provide our safari visitors comfortable accommodation.

 

 

 

 

Rhino Lodge

Ideally located on the edge of the Ngorongoro crater rim, Rhino Lodge offers a perfect base from which to explore the Ngorongoro crater and its surroundings.

With comfortable en-suite rooms, a cozy living space, friendly local staff and generous African-inspired meals, Rhino Lodge welcomes guests to Africa’s most remarkable game park.

The guest rooms, all with veranda overlooking a stretch of high montane forest.

Each room has its own shower, toilet and hand basin.

To keep away the cold each room has a wood-burning stove, and hot water bottles can be filled if you want one.

 

 

Mrefu Farm Lodge

Mrefu Farm Lodge is a lodge at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro 2 km from Marangu gate.

The Lodge is built on 6 acres of land between a coffee and banana jungle.

The Lodge owned by David was originally his father’s farm house, built on a 6 acre piece of land with Coffee, Bananas and fruits of different kinds like Yams, Sweet Potatoes and animals like, Skunks, Sting-less Bees, Bush Babies and a variety of bird species.

 

 

 

 

 

Ilboru Safari Lodge

Ilboru Safari Lodge in Arusha has been welcoming guests to Tanzania for seventeen years.

Nestled on the lower slopes of majestic Mt Meru, the legendary Ilboru Safari Lodge has been welcoming mountain climbers and safari travellers to northern Tanzania for decades.

Babu’s Camp

A semi-permanent tented camp situated in the undiscovered Mkomazi National Park and a conservation success story, including successful wild dog and black rhino re introductions.

This private camp offers a peaceful, relaxing experience in a beautiful African landscape where today one can still enjoy the whole park as though it is ones own.

The Mkomazi National Park is a spectacular wildlife & wilderness destination.

Mkomazi is Tanzania’s newest National Park, it is excellent for birding, and its mammals are rapidly recovering from the heavy poaching of the 80′s

 

 

 

Ruaha River Lodge

Set on one of the most stunning stretches of the Great Ruaha River, you can see game throughout the day from the comfort of your veranda, there can surely be few other camps as perfectly situated.

The lodge built out of local stone and thatch, the lodge is built around natural kopjes and capitalises on it’s exceptional position on a bend in the river Rooms.

Ruaha River lodge is the only ‘lodge’ in the Ruaha, consisting of stone chalets stretching along the river bank.

Each chalet has stunning views from a large veranda out the front, while the huge interiors feature a sitting area, writing desk and either twin or double beds.

At the rear of each chalet is a large bathroom decorated with found timber, a shower and double basins.

 

Ngorongoro Farm House

Live the legendary atmosphere of past times on a colonial style coffee plantation farm house.

Hand plaited thatched roof tops, ample verandas and colonial interiors at Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times.

Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth.

A wonderful stop-off during a safari on the north circuit of Tanzania and a privileged place from where one can visit the crater or enjoy activities such a walking safaris to the volcano or excursions to Lake Eyasi on the Rift Valley still inhabited by the Hadzabe tribe.

Vuma Hills Tented Camp

Vuma Hills Tented camp is perched above the trees stretching over the seemingly endless wilderness south west of Mikumi National Park.

The best time for visiting is in the dry months between June to February.

Vuma Hills Tented Camp remains open all year round, but access to some areas of the park may be limited during March to June, due to the rains.

Bird life during this time of year is glorious and compensates for the scarcer viewings of game animals.
